Sign up for a free, fun, and informative workshop this fall. The workshops are open to DCYF out-of-school-time grantees serving youth in grades K-8. All workshops include a light breakfast at 9am, and a delicious networking lunch. Registration is now available through the links listed below.

Staff Supervision Series
Keeping Staff Motivated and Learning

This workshop will focus on using staff team meetings to create a community of learners, and intentionally structuring opportunities for staff to build mastery, experience autonomy, and rejuvenate their sense of purpose.

Skill-Building with Youth

This workshop will help participants build an effective learning environment; including integrating project-based activities, sequenced lesson planning, and teaching strategies that engage and motivate. The workshop will also provide feedback and advice about various curricula and how to adapt them to a program’s specific circumstances.
Increasing Youth Participation and Buy-In

This workshop will help staff understand how to engage youth in their own learning process, in making decisions about activities in the program, and in leadership for the organization.
